Introducing our air purifying candles: the EC3 Air Purification Candle! These candles are designed to reduce mold counts and mycotoxin levels in the indoor air. Each candle is made with soy wax and a blend of natural, citrus seed botanicals. EC3 candles contain no added fragrance or chemicals and are best used in conjunction with our EC3 Mold Spray. 

How do our candles work? The heat from the burning wick aerosolizes the natural botanicals embedded in the soy wax. The botanicals are both antifungal and antimicrobial. As they disperse, they work to deactivate mold spores and to bring particulates out of the air. The candles’ ingredients were specifically chosen so as not to inflame chemical sensitivities that are common in those who suffer from sinusitis and mold illness. Each candle burns for approximately 16 hours and is designed to treat a 600-square-foot indoor space.

Directions For Use: Open candle and place on flat surface inside of metal lid, away from walls, and flammable items. Burn for 3 hours continuously on first use to achieve optimal effects. Burn for one hour each day afterwards for mold maintenance. When finished burning, use a candle snuffer to put the flame out. We do not recommend blowing it out. Trim tip of wick before each use for best results. This reduces soot and smoke indoors. Each candle has a burn life of approximately 16 hours. A general guideline is to use one candle per 600 square feet of indoor space. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not leave burning candle unattended. Do not use EC3 Air Purification Candles if you are allergic to soy.
