L-Glutamine is the most abundant “free” amino acid in the body. L-Glutamine is found in higher concentration than other proteins (amino acids) in vital tissues such as the brain, intestinal mucosa cells, immune cells, skeletal and smooth muscle. In muscle, the concentration of free glutamine appears to influence whether muscles will be broken down (catabolism – low glutamine content) or built up (anabolism – high glutamine content). The reason is that when the catabolic hormone cortisol attaches to its receptor it stimulates an enzyme called glutamine synthetase to break down muscle tissue, which in turn releases glutamine. The end result is a reduction in muscle mass. Maintaining high blood levels of glutamine inactivates glutamine synthetase so your body does not tear down muscle tissue. Glutamine is also known as a Nitrogen shuttle, a substance that picks up and drops off nitrogen around the body. Nitrogen is an essential component of DNA, the genetic material of life and muscle building. Glutamine is a prominent contributor to the functional integrity of the intestines and serves as an energy source for these high activity cells.* In the cells of the immune system, glutamine is pivotal in their response to “foreign” challenges by serving both as metabolic fuel and as a precursor to RNA and DNA.* Glutamine is the dominant amino acid in cerebrospinal fluid and readily enters the brain where it can serve as a precursor to neurotransmitters. Glutamine is readily absorbed from the intestinal tract and has a mild sweet taste. MRM’s L-Glutamine is produced through fermentation by Japan’s leading pharmaceutical production facility. It is not synthetically produced. • Increases muscle growth* • Minimizes muscle breakdown (anti-catabolic)* • Enhances brain and memory function* • Supports intestinal and immune health* • Antioxidant precursor   Dietary Considerations Gluten Free Soy Free Free of Artificial Colors/Flavors Amount Per Serving L-Glutamine (Pharmaceutical Grade)1000 mg   Suggested Usage: Take 1 scoop (included) up to 5 times daily or as directed by your qualified healthcare provider. • MetabolicResponseModifier BCAA+G 6000 150 caps MetabolicResponseModifier BCAA+G 6000 150 caps

BCAA+G is the ultimate muscle recovery formula nutritionally engineered for today’s serious athlete and health enthusiast.* BCAA+G contains a precise blend of Branched-Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) and L-Glutamine, which are clinically proven to be essential for building muscle size and strength.* BCAA+G increases protein synthesis, nitrogen retention and most importantly protects hard earned muscle from the stress of heavy training and intense exercise. Clinical investigations have proven that the amino acids in BCAA+G help the body recover quicker after intense training and promote lean muscle gains.* During intense training or dieting, muscle tissue can decrease, drastically reducing protein synthesis, or the ability to build muscle. Research has indicated that BCAAs and Glutamine supplementation support the free amino acid pool in the muscle tissue necessary for supporting protein synthesis and allowing the body to build lean muscle mass.* Because the body cannot manufacture its own BCAAs, their importance is vital for maximum muscle growth and recovery.* Take BCAA+G during and/or after exercise to maintain metabolic rate and discourage muscle wasting.* • Supports muscle size and strength* • Supports muscle recovery* • Reduce fatigue and muscle soreness* • 150 capsules   Serving Size:5 Capsule   Servings Per Container:30 Amount Per Serving Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine HCI)2 mg L-Leucine2500 mg L-Valine1500 mg L-Isoleucine1000 mg L-Glutamine1000 mg   Other Ingredients: Capsule is made of gelatin   Suggested Usage: Take 5 capsules 2 times daily. 1 serving taken prior to exercise and 1 serving immediately following exercise. Amino Acid Supplements Products

Amino acids are essential building blocks of tissues and proteins and also act as intermediates in metabolism. For this reason, getting enough essential amino acids through your daily diet and/or supplements is very important so that your body can grow and repair itself properly.

Vita Living offers essential amino acids supplements, which prevent the breakdown of muscle tissues and also increase the release of human growth hormone. These are effective in abdominal fat loss, retention of muscle mass, and improving exercise performance Other than providing physical fitness, amino acid supplements control mood swings, improve concentration level, and have a positive impact on various physiological phenomena.

Amino acids help the body develop and maintain healthy tissues. In addition, your nervous system also needs a good supply of amino acids to function properly. A lack of the amino acid known as tryptophan can cause lowered production of serotonin, which can lead to sleep and mood disorders. Additionally, amino acids are very important in creating enzymes for the support of biochemical reactions and hormones that help regulate metabolism. More research on the value of amino acid supplements is being conducted every day, and it is becoming more and more clear that individual amino acids and specially formulated combinations may be very valuable in healing some types of illnesses and conditions. For example, glutamine may help people who wish to curb cravings for sugar or alcohol. Phenylalanine has been shown to be helpful in easing chronic pain.

Whenever you exercise, you break down some tissues, and your body needs amino acids to repair them. That's why many athletes supplement amino acids with protein drinks and supplements. The amino acids in protein drinks are absorbed quickly into the body and are available for use. Foods that are rich in protein are also rich in amino acids; however, these are not as bio-available as those found in supplements and protein drinks. To make the most of amino acids found in foods, you must be sure to chew thoroughly so that your stomach will be well supplied with hydrochloric acid and enzymes to break down your food efficiently and extract amino acids effectively. If you are considering supplementing your diet with amino acids, consult your health care professional and turn to Vita Living for high quality, dependable supplements.
